Hooray! Huzzah! High Five! Elope Abroad is finally here!

Welcome to Elope Abroad- the site that empowers you with the information and inspiration you need to elope anywhere in the world. This is where your journey begins! It is with much anticipation, excitement and a little exhaustion, that I finally launch this labor of love! Deciding to elope abroad and determining a course of action for planning can be intimidating without the right tools. When I planned my destination elopement, I was more than a little discouraged by how few resources were available to point me in the right direction. There was no one-stop-shop, how-to guide or site offering information on elopement locations, legalities, and planning. Challenge Accepted.

My own wedding planning process was a complete immersion experience and so began my love affair with international elopements. Fast forward to today, and the unveiling of EA, a space specifically designed to fill this void and encourage other couples considering this journey. Elope Abroad is the only site dedicated exclusively to this niche in the world of weddings.

While in its infancy now, EA will grow to include all things related to destination elopements. I’ll share ideas on how to create and get the most out of your elopement budget, how to choose a destination that is right for you, practical planning and travel tips, pre-planned elopements and of course inspirational real elopements from around the world.

It’s my wish that this site evolve in partnership with you as a place to exchange ideas and experiences related to destination elopements. I’d love to hear from you if there’s something you’re dying to know or an idea you’d like to see explored here.
